High in the Peruvian Andes, alpacas have been cherished for centuries for their remarkably soft fleece. The term baby alpaca doesn’t refer to the age of the animal, but to the finest grade of the fleece — taken from the softest areas of the coat. Each strand is silky, feather-light, and smooth to the touch, with a natural sheen that makes it feel quietly luxurious.

For babies, this gentleness makes all the difference. Baby alpaca contains no lanolin, meaning it’s naturally hypoallergenic, breathable, and perfectly suited to delicate newborn skin.

We partner with small, responsible mills that preserve traditional craftsmanship — spinning and dyeing in ways that honour the natural integrity of the fibre. It’s a slower process, but one we wouldn’t change.
